Concerts & Events
The Community Concert Hall at Fort Lewis College will serve as the primary venue for orchestra performances, while chamber concerts and other events are slated in a variety of venues in and around Durango.
We are a casual community where “dressy” encompasses wearing a dress, skirt or slacks for women; sports coat, shirt, or a sweater for men. We encourage you to come as you are! The Community Concert Hall is climate controlled, however outdoor venues around the region may get cooler in the evenings.
We value the importance of introducing young children to music, and depending on the concert some of our events may be suitable for children. Each year, we offer a highly popular Family Concert that is specifically designed for families and children of all ages. Please refer to our festival schedule or Family Concert page for more information and details.
Additionally, this year we are bringing back our mobile-stage “Road Show!” These FREE concerts are open to the community and children are welcome! For more information on our Road Show concerts, click here.
Finally – we also offer a Free Student Ticket program for kids age 7 – 18. This program offers up to two free student tickets with purchase of one adult ticket to select classical orchestra performances.
Picture taking or audio recording of any kind is not permitted.
